HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?
The price of class varies by pastry - please take a look at this month's offerings in the Menu section and we'll get back to you as soon as possible! Each class is around 3 hours long - again, this is dependent on the pastry and baking time.
WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE USED?
We use high-quality pastry ingredients to create our pastries, ensuring the standards of fine French pastries are met. Almost all of the produce used is sourced locally from farmers markets to ensure maximum freshness. Shoot us a message if you have any questions!
IS THE KITCHEN SAFE/CLEANED?
The kitchen is cleaned thoroughly after each session and we hold active Health and Sanitation Certifications ,as well as Allergen certificate, provided by the state of Illinois and the City of Chicago.
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
Payments can be made in person via Cash/Venmo. Payments must be made before class.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
In our classes, you'll work together with other students. In a fun, hands-on environment led by chef.

You, Age .18+ will work with other students in groups of 2 to 4, sharing workstations and equipment.

Classes are 2 to 3 hours, unless otherwise noted inside blog page.

Hands-on classes are limited to 4 students, depending on menu.

You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

Maison du Gateau recipes are developed using common cooking and baking ingredients that may or may not be specified in the menu titles, including various fruits and vegetables, nuts, liqueur, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have a food allergy, please check with your menu before attending the class. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

CAN I BRING MY CAKE HOME ?
YES!! Of course!! You can make your own individually. Bon Appetit!!
